BioWesley Allen Burton was born on the jewel of Florida's Gulf Coast, Sarasota. Don't think he grew up in the lap of luxury, however -- he didn't. He was born in Sarasota because the town where his parents were living at the time didn't actually have a hospital. So after being born in Sarasota, he was taken back to his parents' ranch in Arcadia, where he lived until he was two.
When Wesley was two, the Burton family packed up and moved to their current home in Vero Beach, Florida, almost directly across the state from where he was born. Although Vero was no metropolis (and still isn't, for that matter), it was even then a rather large upgrade from Arcadia (that should tell you something about Wesley's hometown).
Wesley's parents moved because his paternal grandmother, who lives in Sebastian, was having a battle with breast cancer and they wanted to be closer to her. That was 14 years ago, and Audrey Burton is still with us today, living in the same house in Sebastian (though it's been remodeled thanks to the hurricanes of last year).
Wesley fell in love with reading at an early age, being encouraged by his parents to read such literary masterpieces as "The Cat in the Hat", "One Fish Two Fish, Red Fish Blue Fish", and, his personal favorite, "Go Dog Go". His parents enrolled him in the prestigious Learning Nest for his pre-school education. It was there that Wesley learned to hate the general population. While he was trying to read the latest Dr. Seuss masterpiece, his classmates were running around eating their boogers. Not much has changed now that Wesley is in high school, except replace Dr. Seuss with Ernest Hemingway.
Wesley is know for procrastinating, so he probably won't actually finish this for quite a while.
